great and dependable : DEWALT DH3028 3,000 PSI Honda GX200 Gas Powered Heavy Duty Pressure Washer (CARB Compliant)
3.5 out of 5 stars! I ordered this sprayer to replace a 8 yr old Craftsman with a slighly bigger B&S motor and 3400 psi. I repaired the pump on the Sears model twice and they finally stopped stocking some of the parts. I use a power sprayer for about 100 hours a year (not much) but tough situations like vinyl siding and fencing, cleaning engines and parts, driveway and brick walkways. I needed something with a singular stage I Cat pump for reliability. The Honda motor has a good assistance report so I will take it but I love the Entek engines and they are easy to repair and reliable.
After 10 hours I would rate this set-up a 3.5. There are a few nuances that are described on some of the other forums and product recapitulate sites but widespread when I did get it running it worked great.
Pro: Clean and almost all metal. I love the small footprint. Brass nozzles. I am used to a hand wand that has a variable adjusting head, so these tips will take some time to dial in. Easy to use after the start-up. Generic sizes and parts. Universal 3/8" male and female connectors so easy to find longer hoses and attachments. Easy quick-connect fittings. Good price/value for the components.
Con: I don't like all the additonal plastic levers on the motor (on/off switch that singings out to be broken, choke, and fuel cutoff). Hose is too short (they are all 50' but it is still a gripe) and is harder plastic/vinyl than something wraped in nylon and is hard to roll up. Start-up: The pressure builds up in the law off the hose pressure and is a petite hard to start for a new owner. Between the motor settings and wand, there is definately a task list that needs to be followed for the best result. My old Entek motor started on the first pull everytime and I didn't have to worry about the water pressure other than the fawcet being turned on, so I had very high expectations. Brass fittings rattle around in their rubber possessor so use something to tie them down.
Summary: I would buy this unit again and have already purchased a 100' hose and adjustable spray nozzle. Could categorically be a 4...
